Cameron Porter is interviewed first to give his take on a shooting that occurred at Madison High School involving his friend, Len. It was speculated and reported by newspapers that Len and Cameron were in a group that was classified as a cult which in turn caused the shooting at the school. Through the interviews, you come to find out what role both Cameron and Carla had to play in the school incident.
I began to think of the when len when he brought a gun to school was scary because that can happend to my school.I love the was cameron dosent like the bad things that len does.I think that len takes to much drugs for his pain.Im not sure if len is a very nice person nlike cameron says he is.My favorite character is cameron because he tells the truth and isnt afaid of anything.

When Cameron fails to make the basketball team, his father pulls strings and Cameron is placed on the team in lieu of a more skilled player. In retaliation the school's jocks", Cameron's source of friends, turn against him. Ostracized by the jocks, Cameron is an open to Len Gray's offer of friendship. Carla Evans, the second interviewee, is a 17-year old white female. Troubled, a loner, and a victim of abuse, Carla is open to Len's offer of friendship and membership in "Ordo Saggitae" a group formed by Len.
I like the way the auther writes Shooter because he tells it from an interview.I felt sad when they painted the church.I wish that when they arrested len they wouldent have takin all his cool guns away.I wish that all the jocks wouldent have picked on cameron and len.It seems like cameron dosent want to be in the interview talkin at all.

Slowly, an image of Len is formed. Len Gray is a 16-year old loner. He is troubled with depression, very bright and focused on guns, shooting, and death. His intelligence and savvy aid him to gather a group of other loners, misfits, and victims of bullying into a loyal band of followers. Len tests their loyalty through ever increasing acts of vandalism and violence.
Im not sure if len is going to kill someone from all the pressure he is getting put on him.I want to know more about the shooting len and cameron did together that the book might have not told.Len reminds me of someone i know that goes to are school becausei heard him threat to kill someone.I think the setting is important in this story because it is happening on school grounds.If i were len in this point I would have probley done killed myself from all the crap people has put him through.

Finally, the picture of Len Gray that ultimately emerges from his diary is one of a ticking time bomb waiting for just the right incident to trigger an explosion.Len finally kills Brad Williams.
I was surprised when Len killled Brad Williams infront of everyone in the school in the gym.I dislike Brad because he was always bullying other kids in the school. I dont understand the part when len shoots brad in the knees.This section makes me think about the shooting at the UT football game and thr people getting killed. I think the relationship between Cameron and Len is interesting because there bestfreinds but cameron hates all the bad things that len does but i think he dosent say anything is because if he makes len made he is efaid that len might hearm or could kill him.
